GCS Calendar and Hours
The school day begins at 8:40 AM and ends at 3 PM. Students enter the building at the school's main entrance (Door #9) starting at 8:20 AM. People entering the building will be buzzed in. Parents may drop off their children starting at 8:20 AM (until 8:40 AM) at the school's main entrance without signing them in. Please call the office if you are picking children up before the end of the day or if they are not going to ride the bus home that day.
Parent Pick-up at the end of the day begins once the buses depart (approximately 3:10pm). After the buses depart, parents waiting in the car line will drive up to the school entrance where your child(ren) will be called.
The southeast (Door #7) door in the back of the building should be used for parents picking up their children who are in after school tutoring, clubs, or sports. All school activities, unless otherwise noted, end at 4:45pm.
