Jethro ministry lead by Nancy Lyon

 

Parents Supporting & Encouraging Greece Christian School

God has blessed us as parents with the opportunity to send our children to a school where their souls, academics and characters can be nurtured in a Christ centered environment.  The parent group, Jethro, has been formed to support our school in tangible ways.  We invite and encourage you to get involved in Jethro!

Some of Jethro’s goals are:

  • to create a strengthened GCS community of parents
  • to bless teachers and staff members with our support, prayers and tokens of appreciation
  •  to improve communication between parents, teachers, administration and GCS Council members
  •  to expand school programs and resources through fundraising

There are some parents who lead varies departments to the Jethro ministry and here are the following ministries and the parent who leads them:

Nancy Lyons: Head of monthly lunches for teachers.  Nancy organizes lunches for the teachers on the first tuesday of every month.  if you desire to help call nancy. 

Mary Buonaugurio: Head of Room Mother's.  Mary organized and matches each teacher with a room mother.  Room mothers help with varies duties, such as helping with phone calls to parents and organizing field trips and parties. 

Peggy McCann: Head of Lunch Helpers. Peggy helps to recruit lunch helpers.  Lunch helpers serve during the lunch time and  help prepare the table set-up and then serve the food during lunch-time. 

Nancy Gierson: Head of Lost and Found and Library support. Nancy is organizing the lost and found and supports Mrs. perez with library duties. We are grateful for all the parents who serve and encourage you to find a department to serve if you are not involved.
