Physical Education

Physical Education classes at Greece Christian School  are fun and full of learning.  We teach from a biblical viewpoint that our  bodies are to be temples for the Lord.  "What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?" I Corinthians 6:19.  Physical  Education and fitness are extremely important as a lifelong lifestyle to keep our bodies healthy and strong so that God can use us for service in His kingdom.

Elementary students learn basic skills that are reinforced through each new activity.  As students get older, they have practiced and learn to master these basic skills.  Basic skills that are taught involve balance, large motor skills, awareness of different size spaces, kicking throwing, catching, striking, climbing and movement to rythyms.

Team  sports are also taught in varying degrees that are approriate to the age group. These teams sports include soccer, football, basketball, floor hockey, volleyball, kickball and baseball.
