      First grade is a very exciting place. Every morning we begin the day by putting on the full armour of God according to Ephesians 6.  We go on to declare the Word of God into our lives.

       Our classroom has a warm, inviting atmosphere where we are all encouraged to grow spiritually, socially and academically.

       We love to sing praise and worship songs to Jesus.  The House of Prayer is a special place to meet with God and listen for His voice.  Bible time in front of our fireplace or camp fire is always a forum to explore the heart of Abba Father as revealed through Jesus by His Holy Spirit.  

       The Lord has a divine destiny for each of the kidlets and teachers and so we seek to do our best in all areas as unto the Lord.  We are learning that when brethren dwell together in unity, there the Lord commands the blessing!  Obedience, self-control, repentance and love are high priorities in first grade and we continue to seek the One who is able to change us into what He wants us to be!

       Pray for us as the Lord carries us through our first grade adventure with Him!      

    Our Spelling is a word study program that takes each child from the stage where he/she is and advances him/her as far as he/she can go.  We will learn the rules used in order to spell words. This will enable us to spell more words than  what appear on the lists.
